Julia Pettway joined Emory Investment Management in 2025. Her responsibilities include tax and audit oversight, regulatory compliance, ongoing monitoring, portfolio operations, and internal and external reporting. Previously, Pettway worked at Blue Forest, where she structured and managed conservation finance vehicles and loan portfolios, oversaw investor reporting and compliance, and led investment operations. Prior to Blue Forest, she served on the Financial Strategies group at Piper Sandler, providing balance sheet management and investment portfolio advisory services to financial institutions. She began her career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Pettway holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
