Alberto Fassinotti joined Emory in 2025 after 17 years at RockCreek Group, where he served as co-head of public markets, investing in equity and fixed income strategies across both developed and emerging markets. Prior to RockCreek, Fassinotti worked at Darby Overseas Investments, an emerging markets private equity firm, where he helped develop a global emerging markets fund focused on infrastructure investments. He has also held positions at J.P. Morgan’s alternative investments group and Goldman Sachs’ investment management division. Fassinotti holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University, graduating cum laude, and a Master of Science in Foreign Service with a concentration in Commerce and Finance from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
