Biography

Christie joined Emory Investment Management in May 2013.  Her responsibilities include investment operations, technology and systems, operational risk management, compliance and due diligence, investment/performance analytics & reporting, and other non-investment related business operations such as human resources, finance, vendor management, and project management. Prior to coming to Emory, Christie was the Chief Operating Officer of Spider Management Company, the University of Richmond’s investment management company which is also an outsourced CIO provider for other endowments and foundations.  She was responsible for oversight of all non-investment activities within the firm. Christie has worked for Hofstra University, MSC Industrial Direct and Coopers & Lybrand in New York.  Christie holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton.
